Happy Birthday, My Bro

Happy 18th Birthday to my brother!

Yeah, you are of legal age now. 3 more years to go before reaching the legallest (does this word exist) age of all.

Celebration for my brother's birthday is a moderate one. My dad suggested to go to Bukit Tinggi for dinner. You did not hear it wrong, it's the Bukit Tinggi in Pahang. It's a one-hour-plus drive from KL. Nevertheless, the journey to the place was worth it.

The place was green!! It's surround by hills and the environment is so quiet that you can hear the sound of river flow.

The river... From our view, we can see trees that are planted opposite us.

The river and hills surrounding the place.

As they plant their own vegetables and rear fishes, their vegetables are really fresh and the fish that we had tastes nice!! The vegetables are so nice that my parents ordered a dish again even though we are about to finish all of the food. They even bought some vegetables home, haha.

The place where they plant vegetables. The plants are watered using river water. No wonder it tastes so nice!

The pond where they rear fishes. They flow in water from the river into the pond.

Even though the journey took us 3 hours to and fro, the food worth the time. Can't wait to eat there again in near future!

Happy Chinese New Year

Happy Chinese New Year!!

This is the last day of Chinese New Year, I wish everyone, Happy Chinese New Year!

It's been a great chinese new year for me. My relatives and my family had an one-night stay in Highlands Hotel durin Chinese New Year eve for the third consecutive year. Countdown to Chinese New Year had been the norm for 3 years and I'm enjoying every moment spent in Genting Highlands. Cool and fresh air in genting makes me feel so relaxed. and refreshed.

View of Genting from room in Highlands Hotel.

For some unknown reason, we will bought Chinese New Year clothes in Genting every year. Maybe it is because we only have to mood to shop when in Genting when Chinese New Year is less than 24 hours away. Must be the cool weather there that motivates all of us to shop. I have bought my Chinese New Year clothes in Genting for 3 years.

Me, my sis and cousin in First World Plaza. The CNY decoration and the flowers are nice!!

The decoration with a resemblance of traditional Chinese mansion entrance.

Us with the stuff we bought from First World Plaza.

We had buffet dinner at Coffee Terrace, where there are varieties of food to choose from - Japanese, Western, Malaysian, Chinese, Nyonya, Indian. With unlimited supply food, we all were so full that it's hard for us to move.

Coffee Terrace... The place where we had our buffet dinner. Full house for dinner time!

Done with dinner, us youngsters had a walk around Genting and camwhored before heading to the empty area in front of Highlands Hotel to see Lion Dances performance and fireworks. Sharp at 12 a.m, firecrackers were lighten up one by one. There's firecrackers hung on 16-18 flag poles (lost count of it), so it's long before all the firecrackers were lighten up.

Siblings... Sis, bro and me.

The guys bringing their sexy back.

Girls posing before the fireworks presentation.

Fireworks presentation lasted for 10 minutes but too bad most of time it can't be seen as there was thick fog that night. What a waste :( I did not manage to go into casino this year as all of my cousins not interested to go. Not that I go in and gamble, I just wanna see how people gamble and the strategies used, haha.

Chinese New Year as usual - visits to relatives home, and we have a karaoke session at my cousin's house with free flow of drinks and food. I managed to visit Kok Keong's, Ming En's, Wan Teang's and Sharron's house and got to see friends that I've not seen for long. Happy happy me :D

Wei Song, me, Wan Teang, Sharron, Ming En, Min Nah and Kok Keong at Ming En's house.

The group picture. Gong Xi Fa Cai!!

Sharron, Nean Hua and moi!

Not forgetting visit to Nean Hua's house. It's almost 2 years that I've not seen her!! She left Malaysia for Taiwan to pursue her dream and so happy that she is back to celebrate Chinese New Year. For sure I will visit her. After all, she might not be coming back soon.

With a great beginning, there will be more good things coming to me, hehe.

Wish everyone has a good year ahead!!

Majlis Kesyukuran & Kejayaan MMU

I got to meet Tun Dr Mahathir Mohammad today!!

Majlis Kesyukuran & Kejayaan MMU was held today to celebrate the successes achieved by MMU during the 10 years of its existence. Tun Dr Mahathir Mohammad was present for the event alongside his wife, Tun Dr Sith Hasmah Ali. I purposely sit at area next to the red carpet to get a glimpse of Tun Dr Mahathir Mohammad.

Oh yeah, I chose the right place as he passed right in front of me. I even got the chance to shake hand with him...TWICE. Once when he went into the grand hall and the other time when he leaves the grand hall.

It feels great to meet our former leader, a respected leader.

Tun Dr Mahathir Mohammad, when he entered the hall.
