GSC Alamanda's National Treasure

GSC Alamanda is opening soon! Thanks to Alvin, we have complimentary tickets to watch movie at GSC Alamanda before the cinema is opened to the public.

So Alvin and us chipmunks watched the 9.30 p.m. screening of "National Treasure 2". Before the show, we went to the washroom, which is new. So we camwhored in the washroom, and Tharan and Chee Wei are gutsy enough to enter the ladies'.

My goodness, they were probably too excited being in the ladies washroom that they requested me to take a picture of them with the sanitary bin. And sure I'm gonna share this picture here. Sharing is caring, muahahahaha.

After the movie, we passed by a Britney advertisement. Again, these guys were so excited about the poster and posed for pictures. Beware of these perverts (Take note of their poses)

Pervs...

And again, Chee Wei and Tharan got excited again. This time is the children's rides. They act like kids that love to go on these rides. Guys, guys...

Tharan and Chee Wei showing their kiddie side

However, on the positive note, they are good companion to watch movies. The 5 of us laughed the loudest in the cinema. I wonder if it's only just the 5 of us understand the jokes? I'm gonna go for a comedy with them definitely. Won't be bored with them around in the cinema ^_^

At The Top of FCM Building

It's such a crazeee day for me. Me, my sis, Tharan, Ken, Ping Ting and Chee Wei went up to the rooftop of FCM building, which is a prohibited area. As you can see, it's dark up there, nothing can be seen and we need to depends on lights of our phone to walk. Thankfully, security guards did not see us there.

It's crazy but, of course we gotta do something crazy while we are still young, haha. Wonder what crazy thing will I do next? Hmmmm...

The Day for NS

18th March 2008, The Day for National Service trainees. Either they like or they hate this date very much. Like it cos they look forward to the days in camp, hate it cos they never like this programme at all. I'm quite excited actually, because I get to see how's the situation at departure venue, Bukit Jalil.

My brother was selected for this programme and he will be in Tasik Chini camp for 3 months. I wonder how the place will be.

Registration area at Bukit Jalil

Some trainees even took pictures with their family before they go!

The crowd in Bukit Jalil

The crowd is not as big as I imagined to be as the trainees are sent to their camps over 3 days. To my surprise, the traffic around Bukit Jalil is smooth. No traffic jam at all. It is way much better than when the National Service started where there is a chaos at Bukit Jalil - getting into the wrong bus, list of trainees incomplete, serious traffic jam at Bukit Jalil.

Parents bidding goodbye to their children

I hate to bid goodbye. Either at bus station, train station, airport or even at home, I will be the one crying when someone is leaving for a place. This time no exception as well. I told myself not to cry, but as I see my brother went up the bus, tears rolling down my cheek. What an embarassment! I hate it! I am too sentimental. Urgh.

Anyway, hope my brother will have wonderful memories of his days in National Service camp. It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Of Red Box and J.Co Donuts

It is the fourth day without my eyes. Not my biological eyes of course. It's my speactacles which have been really hard for me to see things around me clearly. I feel like I'm half-blind. It's my fault for not having spectacles. How could I accidentally sat on my glasses?

I'm starting to appreciate my glasses now. All this while I never really like wearing glasses as it makes me look nerdy. But now, how can I survive without glasses for days? I'm so gonna get a new one soon.

Forget about sad things. It's mid-term break for me next week but no rest for me as I need to complete my assignment and study for my mid-term exam. But before that, I'm gonna have some fun.

Karaoke session with my roomies yesterday at Red Box Low Yat Plaza. It just costs us RM 6++ for 2 hours of singing with 2 free drinks (I'm not there to eat food anyway). What a great deal! The karaoke room is spacious! It's a room that can fit up to 15 person and there's only 3 of us inside! I'm lucky that I always get the big room everytime I went there. It's better than Green Box even though Red Box and Green Box are under the same parent company.

I wish we could sing longer. However, I needed to go for dinner. If not, I would have extend my singing time until 9 p.m. which only costs RM 10 more. It's cheap indeed. Never mind. There will still be next time.

Mei Kuan and Ai Ping... My K-partners... We'll go there again soon!

J. Co Donuts Indulgence

J. Co Donuts, my guilty pleasure. Guilty cos it makes me fat but it's a pleasure to my taste bud. Lining up for half and hour was worth it. Soft dough, smooth cream. It's delectable, it's tasty, it's indulgence, it's my guilty pleasure...

The line at J. Co Donuts & Coffee in The Pavillion.

The donuts!!

Start work from tomorrow onwards. Assignment submission and mid-term exam waiting for me after the mid-term break. And not forgetting to get my glasses done as soon as possible. Life is so blur without glasses on.

What A Lucky Day!!

It's my Lucky Lucky Day today.

I went to Old Town with my roomie and also my sis for dinner. Not long after we got to the bus stop, there's one shuttle bus arrived. Saved RM 1 bus fare. We had dinner there and we walked back to our campus as we were lazy to wait for bus. On the way back, we went to Street Mall for a walk to see the new restaurants opened there.

Out from Street Mall, we were too lazy to wait for bus and continue our journey back to campus. Then we heard someone honked us. It's the shuttle bus driver. Yes!! We don't have to walk the remaining distance back to MMU. We waved and the bus driver stopped for us. Don't need to pay for the bus fare as well. What a lucky day. How many bus driver will stop for you if you are not waiting at bus stop? What a kind bus driver.

Therefore, it is considered a luck day for me :D

Lastly, thanks to Ping Ting, Ken, Tharan and Chee Wei for their belated birthday gift of a pair of earrings and a T-shirt with the wordings "tuff cookie". I'm gonna be a tough cookie.

D DAY

29th February 2008 is D DAY!! It's D DAY!!

D DAY is the day where the 2nd phase Yellow Army of MMU, MeTaSe (Metropolitan-Taylor's-SeGi), SuMo (Sunway-Monash) and UNITEN graduate.

Graduation = unemployment :(

Forget about unemployment, I had fun being a Yellow Army. I got to Fu-yohrised our campus and giving free gifts. I remember my first job for Yellow Army - Fu-yohrised our campus and promote a Genting Magician Festival. The magicians were spectacular, till now I'm still thinking how they do all the magics. We managed to create a hype at our campus - people were crowding the stage to see the magic performance.

I also got a chance to go to SuMo campus as well to promote Genting Magic Festival.

Yellow Army with the magicians

Other than that, we also joined a commander boot camp in Malacca and got a chance to meet Yellow Army from other campuses. I still remember we need to wait for almost 2 hours for the bus to pick us up as the students from SuMo campus were late for the bus. But we had in the camp.

MMU Yellow Army in Boot Camp

I also had a chance to go to Youth Street Festival which were held in Taman Tasik Titiwangsa, work and play at the same time. I was responsible to write marks for basketball competition under the sun (where there were controversies due to unexplained rules to the participants), got to see fashion show, and got to go on G-Force X (one ride worth RM60) for 2 times!!

Me and Ping Ting at Youth Street Festival...

Back to D DAY, it was held in Pizza Hut in SS 15. There were prize giving ceremony for the winners and of course, all the Yellow Armies as well. On the way to SS15, we almost encounter an accident. Thankful we were safe to reach our destination.

MMU FU-YOH!!

MMU YA at Club 7 (if not mistaken)

The guys were not full enough eating the pizzas and someone suggested to go to Jalan Ipoh to have dim sum in the wee hours in the morning. The idea was somewhat crazy but we agreed and off we went. We got to enjoy free show by The 3 Gays while we were eating there.

The 3 gays

The 3 were kissing each others before targetting other guys. Poor Alvin was one of the victim...

Ping Ting's boyfriend no exception as well... poor thing.

Thanks to Ken for giving to me the Gwen Stefani charm that he won from Yellow Army web party. I really wanted it since I saw it, haha.

Being Yellow Army has been a great experience... I got to know some cool people as well as gaining new experiences. MMU Yellow Army is definitely one of the best Yellow Army troop in the whole Malaysia.

MMU YA rocks!!
