Happy Chinese New Year!!!!
Well, din have time recently for blogging becos of working till midnight, now only free to blog cos i'm working afternoon shift today. Well,Chinese New Year is different for me cos during Chinese New Year eve, i went to Genting to celebrate it with my family and my aunt's family where the old ways of celebrating new year's eve is staying at home. Went there by noon, have lunch at a open area restaurant(can't really remember the name),had a asam laksa and then went back to Highlands Hotel to check in.
After that, we went for a walk at Times Square, and go for Bowling games where i played poorly. Then i went for shoping at Times Square to look for new shoes since i bought new clothes before this. Found a pair of shoes at Bumcity which i kinda like, undecided which colour to choose cos it camje in 4 colours-blue,pink,green and black.I eliminated blue and pink cos i think the colours is not nice.I really got undecided between the green and the black cos green is nice but black match with clothes. I called my parents to ask for opinion but still fail to come to a conclusion cos my parents ask me to decide myself. I asked my cousins and siblings for opinion but still no answers cos they asked me to decide myself.I feel really bad cos the salesgirl is looking at me and i stand there for like almost half an hour.It's 5.15 pm & the shop will close at 6 pm so i decided to take the black shoes but alas....no size of mine so in the end i chose the green shoes.Sigh....i should make decisons earlier & the salesgirl should tell me earlier that there is no size anymore for black shoes so i will not waste her time and my time.
After i browse for present at Bumcity for my colleague's birthday since i promise to get him one. Walk for a long time to get him a present and finally saw a wallet which is suitable for him since is wallet is worn out and SMELLY! But suddenly, some of lights went off & only we realised that the shop will close at 6!! So, my cousins and i quickly pay for the stuff we get & go back to hotel.Really happy cos finally got a new pair of shoes. It's very strange for all of us cos we only get our new stuff for new year at Genting since the shops at KL are more than Genting.
Then we went for buffet dinner at Coffee Terrace which is really nice...like some 5-star hotel restaurant. There are Indian, Japanese,Chinese,Western & Local cuisines available there.I ate until very full....feel really guilty cos i'll be gaining weight from all those eating!!Then,we went back to hotel to take a shower & went outside again to watch fireworks.Patiently wait till 12am, & bang the firecrackers and burnt-18 of them to be exact.After the firecrackers, came the fireworks.Nice eventhough not as good as those in KL...Really happy to celebrate new year this way...and my birthday falls on the first day of new year!!Double happiness for me!
The new year every year is the same....visiting relatives house, sitting there, eating those biscuits which make me gain weight....really feel guilty eating alll those stuff....but the best part is visiting my friend's house. Even though i only managed to go to 2 houses this year-Wan Eang & Sharron-i feel happy too cos i managed to see the way of their lifestyles.
I went back to work on the 4th day of new year(1st Feb) which is fine for me cos i geet double pay for my salary and triple for OT and nothing else to do if i stay at home. Really happy to see all my friends coming to visit me, Sharron and Kok Keong. Lien Ghee gave me a belated present for my birthday which she shares with Chee Wei and Edwin.Really happy to receive present form them cos they are my besties since secondary school! Then came a strange auntie who wants us to wrap present who wnats everythong FOC- from boxes to wrappping paper, she expects everything to be free and starts to compare us with Jaya Jusco.If she feel so unhappy being here,why not go to Jusco instead of The Store? She even asked us staff to pay for the wrapping paper she used.She even complained the songs we played is outdated. David Tao is outdated?Hello, he's one of the bestselling artist in Taiwan,man.
She complained that our asst supervisor din smile all the time which is true cos being at customer service department, u have to serve customer with a smile. The promoter even complained that she asked them to try on the clothes before buying them!!She even asked us & the Electrcal depratment staff to test those lightings she bought....worse customer i've ever seen.....nothing really happen today but the cashier who is at our counter really make me feel funny today...make me laugh and dizzy with all his antics ....a good way to get my day through......haha.....
